Trial Set for Cuyahoga Falls Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting a Woman in Her Home

The trial for Michael A. Maresh is scheduled to begin Monday.
Maresh, 25, of Cuyahoga Falls, is accused of sexually assaulting a 32-year-old woman, according to information from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office. The alleged attack took place in June 2012 at the woman’s North Royalton home. At the time, Maresh was a probation officer for Parma Municipal Court and a corrections officer for the North Royalton Police Department. The woman was reporting to Maresh for probation.
He is charged with two counts of sexual battery.

According to the Plain Dealer, Maresh pleaded not guilty in September.
