The following was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Drop that egg, or else

Three children were reportedly caught hurling eggs at a residence in the 1100 block of Chestnut Boulevard on June 22.

The group of alleged troublemakers was arrested by police for criminal mischief and curfew violations, and was referred to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Youth Diversion Program.

Another heroin success story

Michael N. Bickley, 23, of Akron, was pulled over at the intersection of Graham Road and Prange Drive on June 21 for speeding, and when police searched his car, they allegedly found two baggies of a powdery substance.

Subsequent tests would confirm the bags contained heroin. Bickley, was charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and will appear before Stow Municipal Court Judge Lisa Coates on July 3 for a preliminary hearing, according to stowmunicourt.com.

Where's my $2K sneakers?!

A Cuyahoga Falls resident purchased a pair of LeBron 10 "What the MVP" limited edition sneakers from eBay for $2,100, but received just an empty box when the package arrived in the mail, according to a June 21 police report.

With hope, the ridiculously expensive pair of basketball shoes will make it to their rightful owner.

Targeting the elderly

An 87-year-old Cuyahoga Falls resident called police on June 18 after she was reportedly tricked into giving her social security information to an unknown caller.

The woman was able to contact her bank before any unauthorized purchases were made.
