Suspected Meth Cooks Arrested in Cuyahoga Falls

Four people arrested on Feb. 10 face several meth-related felony charges.

An early morning trip to the local Walgreen's ended badly for four people after they were seen purchasing items that can be used to produce methamphetamine.

On Feb. 10 at 12:43 a.m., an officer from the Cuyahoga Falls Police K-9 Unit pulled over two members of the group -- Cliff J. Cundiff, 29, of Akron, and Richelle L. Brown, 33, of Cuyahoga Falls -- as they left the State Road drug store.

The officer found methamphetamine, a glass pipe allegedly used to smoke the drug and "Wal-Phed," an over-the-counter medicine that can double as a meth ingredient, according to the Cuyahoga Falls police report.

Once the pair was in custody, police arrested the other two suspects -- Brandon T. Stewart, 30, of Kent, and Mark D. Veasey, 48, of Cuyahoga Falls -- who had left Walgreen's in a separate car.

Veasey and Stewart both lied about Stewart's identity when questioned by police, the report stated. Stewart was found in possession of a hypodermic needle and suspected meth ingredients.
