Falls Police Blotter: Felony Drug Find; $10,000 Bank Theft; and Multiple Burglaries

A man at the 3300 block of Caleb Street was charged with felonious possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia Monday night. According to the report, he was venting a strong marijuana odor on the side of his home. The man allowed police to search his residence where they found six one-gallon bags of marijuana totaling 724 grams, or 1.59 pounds. Also found was a digital scale, a bong and rolling papers.

Refrigerator raider

A subcontractor for Redwood Development reported between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, someone entered five new construction apartments at the 1100 block of Aycliff Lane and took five Frigidaire refrigerators. Total loss valued at $1,850.

Theft by deception

A security investigator for Huntington Bank reported someone defrauded the bank out of more than $10,000 by using his credit card to advance money through a fraudulent business. The reported theft occurred between March 23 and the police report Wednesday morning.

Stolen stove

A man reported someone entered one of his properties at the 2000 block of 11th Street, which is vacant and for sale, and stole a white GE electric stove, valued at $300. The  theft occurred sometime between July 7 and Tuesday, and the man reported the house was shown to potential buyers last week.
