Rash of Breaking and Entering Violations over the Fourth of July Weekend

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • An employee at Six Brothers Pizza Co., located at 410 Chestnut Blvd., told police that someone tried to get into the business through the front door between July 2 and 3. The suspect also tried to break out the window of the door. The employee told police that the suspect was unable to get into the business. 

 

  • The owner of Rue Genevieve, located at 420 Chestnut Blvd., told police that someone got into her business by removing the back door between July 2 and 3. The owner also told police that the suspect looked through a drawer, but did not take anything. 

 

  • On July 3, a Cuyahoga Falls police officer found the north and south doors of the , located at 2028 Chestnut Blvd., open. One of the restaurant's window panes was broken, and the jukebox inside was pried open by the suspect.

  • An employee of told police that someone broke into her locked business by breaking into the front door. The employee told police that the suspect took $4 in cash.

 

  • An employee of Reggie's, located at 4065 State Rd., told police that on the morning of July 3 she found the interior office door open. The employee also told police that an exterior door was open and the door handle was tampered with. The employee told police that nothing was missing from the restaurant.

  • An employee of , located at 3204 State Rd., told police that someone forced their way into the restaurant by prying open a door on July 3.
