Purse-Snatching Duo Swipes Handbag from Woman's Cart
Local Cuyahoga Falls crime from March 7 – March 16.
A woman told that while loading her groceries into her car in the parking lot of at 2630 Bailey Rd. on March 5, two white females snatched her purse from the grocery cart and fled the scene. The thieves were both described as having curly hair and looked to be between the ages of 16 and 18. The missing purse contained $75 in cash, two credit cards and assorted makeup items totaling approximately $100.
An elderly resident of the 2500 block of 26th Street is a possible victim of assault and neglect at the hands of her caretaker, according to Cuyahoga Falls EMS. A police report was filed the evening of March 7 after the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department was contacted and Adult Protective Services have initiated an investigation.

Police were notified just before midnight March 12 that a man was carrying a folding knife with a blade measuring more than three inches in length on the corner of Bailey Road and Howe Avenue. Marquis L. Rodgers was arrested on charges of possession of a prohibited weapon.
