Police Take Down Suspected Meth Operation in Cuyahoga Falls

A pair of men have been hit with several felonies and misdemeanors following Tuesday's drug raid.

On July 16 at 8:30 a.m., the Cuyahoga Falls Police Narcotics Unit carried out a search warrant and found a suspected methamphetamine trafficking operation in the 3400 block of Haggarty Way.

Joseph P. Collins, 33, and George R. Collins IV, 35, both of Cuyahoga Falls, were arrested in Tuesday's raid that stemmed from an investigation by detectives, said Cuyahoga Falls Police Sgt. James Singleton. 

Both men were charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies; drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor; and drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. 

The pair is being held in Summit County Jail, and was arraigned in Stow Municipal Court on Wednesday, according to the Stow Clerk of Courts Office.
