Police: Group of Teens Found With Heroin, Stolen Clothing at Target

The following was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department.

On June 16, a group of Akron teens reportedly strolled into the Target, located at 449 Howe Ave., and slipped out with bundles of stolen clothing.

Fortunately, the alleged theft was thwarted when police stopped the trio in the parking lot.

Besides the stolen merchandise, Felice C. Renfroe, 19, was found with heroin and charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, according to a Cuyahoga Falls police report.

When questioned about the theft, Renfroe's cohort, London L. Toney, 19, tried to lie about her identity. She was charged with obstructing justice, a first-degree misdemeanors.

Renfroe, Toney and Monay Y. Oliver, 18, were also each charged with theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Toney pled guilty on both charges leveled against her in Stow Municipal Court on June 21 and was hit with a $2,000 fine, according to stowmunicourt.com.

Oliver also pled guilty and received a $1,000 fine.

Renfroe appeared before Stow Municipal Court Judge Lisa Coates on June 17 and pled not guilty to theft. She will appear before Magistrate John W. Clark on June 27 at 9:30 a.m. regarding the felony drug charge.
