Police Blotter: Two Vehicles Stolen, Two Damaged
The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
are investigating the theft of two vehicles and the criminal damaging of two others:
Vehicle thefts
- A resident of the 1300 block of Jefferson Avenue called police at 9:40 a.m. Dec. 30 to report that someone had stolen his company provided vehicle, a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The man, 60, said the vehicle contained approximately $27,000 worth of x-ray equipment also owned by his Portage Trail employer.
- The theft of a 1998 Ford Contour valued at $4,000 was reported at 11 a.m. Jan. 1 by a resident of the 500 block of Taylor Avenue. The theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Dec. 31 and 3 a.m. Jan. 1.

- A resident of the 3000 block of Prior Drive called police at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 1 to report that someone had turfed his front yard, causing about $50 in damage, and dented his 1999 Buick Ultra. Damage to the vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, was estimated at $200. While making the police report, the man noticed his Sirius Satellite Radio valued at $400 was missing from the vehicle, which had been unlocked.
- A woman who lives in the 2500 block of Theiss Road called police at 10:31 a.m. Jan. 1 to report that someone used an unknown object to break several windows in her 1996 Dodge Caravan. Damages are estimated at $900. The vehicle was parked in the woman's driveway in front of the garage.
