Police Blotter: Target, Walgreen's Report Shoplifters
The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction
responded to the following pre-Christmas shoplifting reports from city businesses:
- A loss prevention agent at called police 7:58 p.m. Dec. 19 to report that he saw two women leave the store without paying for $323 worth of merchandise and that a third woman had assisted them. All three Cleveland residents – two of them age 21 and the third, 27 – were arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft.
- An assistant manager at on State Road called police at 2:59 Dec. 21 to report that a man had left the store with $102 worth of merchandise he had not paid for. Police found the Akron man, 53, across the street, arrested him and charged him with receiving stolen property. The merchandise was returned to the store.
