Police Blotter: Sunglasses, T-Shirt and Shorts Reported Missing

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Americana Drive Thefts

  • A woman living in the 4200 block of Americana Drive told police that sometime between Aug. 29 and 31, someone broke out the driver's side window of her car and stole a radio unit, miscellaneous CDs and a pair of prescription sunglasses. The woman told police that her car was parked in the northwest lot and locked at the time of the theft. Estimated loss is $600.
  • During that same stretch of days in the same 4200 block of Americana Drive, a woman told police that someone broke the passenger side window out of her car and stole a Garmin GPS unit valued at $400. The woman told police that her car was parked in the south lot of the complex. 

Sylvan Avenue Thefts

  • A woman living in the 2600 block of Sylvan Avenue told police that on Aug. 30, someone stole her wallet from the glovebox of her car. Police said that the contents of the wallet were recovered from a neighbor's yard.
  • On the same day in the same 2600 block of Sylvan Avenue, a man told police that someone entered his unlocked truck and stole a pair of khaki shorts, a t-shirt and $30 in change. The t-shirt was found hanging over the neighbor's handrail.
