Police Blotter: Purse Snatchers

Theft

  • Jan. 5, an unknown person smashed in a driver's side window of a locked 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van while the owner was in the at 544 Broad Blvd. A purse with several credit cards and $400 was stolen. Loss and damage totals $1,100.
  • A purse and jacket were stolen at , 1767 State Road, Jan. 7. The purse held a debit card and two prescription bottles. The woman left her belongings unattended to use the restroom and has no idea who took the items. The total loss is $910.

  • A person attempted to gain entry to a residence at 339 Falls Avenue by opening an unsecured front window of the house, Jan 7.
