Police Blotter: Man Hospitalized After Glass Bottle Beating

An argument turned violent between two men early Tuesday morning at the 700 block of Edward Avenue. One got the upper hand, took a glass bottle and beat the other in the head with it. The man dropped the makeshift weapon and fled before officers arrived. The victim was taken to Doctors stitched his eye and closed a head wound with staples. are investigating.

Burglary

A Third Street resident said a burglar entered her unlocked home sometime Tuesday evening and stole a laptop that had been left just inside the front door. Estimated loss: $1,300.

Overzealous thief
