Police Blotter: Knife in the High School, Nose Ring Pulled Out

Knife in the High School
Police said that on Sept. 1, a senior at brought a knife into the school with a blade more than 2.5 inches long. The student told police that it was in his back pocket and he forgot it was on him. This is a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

A woman living in the 1800 block of Lancaster Street told police that on Aug. 30, a man known to her kicked in the back door of her home and took her cell phone.
Police said that a woman arrived with the suspect, entered the house and attacked the victim. The woman told police that the suspect ripped her nose ring out. Police said both suspects left the area by car.
