Police Blotter: "Home Wrecker" Painted on Garage, Stolen Gas

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Damaging

  • A man living in the 3400 block of Prange Drive told police that sometime between Aug. 20 and 21, someone punctured four tires on three different vehicles at the Friendship Terrace Complex. Estimated total loss for all four tires is $300.
  • A woman living in the 300 block of Pleasant Meadow Boulevard told police that sometime between Aug. 20 and 21, someone painted the words "Home Wrecker" on her garage door. Police have a suspect, and the estimated damage is $250.

Theft

  • An Akron man told police that sometime between Aug. 19 and 20, someone stole the gasoline from his car while he was parked at H & H Towing on Main Street. The gasoline is valued at $20.
  • A woman living in the 2000 block of Issaquah Street told police that on Aug. 19, someone stole her 1999 Chevy Blazer. The woman told police that the car was parked in her driveway unlocked with the keys in it. Total estimated loss is $5,000.
  • A Barberton man told police that on Aug. 17 while parked at on Howe Avenue, someone got into his locked car by breaking the window seal and stole four HD projectors, miscellaneous clothing and miscellaneous tools. Estimated loss is $1,300.
