Police Blotter: Hit and Run; Public Indecency; and Cruel Beating

As two teenage girls crossed Silver Lake Avenue on Sunday night, a motorist allegedly drove left of center, yelled obscenities at them and struck one of the girls with his car, according to a Falls police report. He then fled north on Oakwood Drive. The girl was treated at Akron General Hospital for bruises to her hip and thigh. The bald, white man was driving a red Mustang, which may have sustained damage in the hit and run.
Public Urination
A woman was arrested Saturday night after she was seen urinating in the parking lot of the . The 32-year-old woman was issued a citation and released.

TV thief
A burglar entered a man’s Ironwood Street residence on Saturday and went straight for the electronics. He stole a 42” flat screen TV and two Xbox 360 video game systems. There were no signs of forced entry. Estimated loss: $1,200.

Cheap shots
Late Sunday night, a Buckingham Gate resident was reportedly knocked out of his wheelchair and kicked several times in the face by a family member. The infirmed victim opted not to press charges against the man.
$10,000 burglary
A woman reported a burglar broke into her 15th Street residence sometime Monday and stole several pieces of her jewelry. Estimated loss: $10,000.
