Police Blotter: Five Cars Broken Into on Maplewood Street

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Sept. 1, reports reflect cars parked in the 2500 and 2600 blocks of Maplewood Street fell victim to a rash of thefts. 

A woman told police that someone got into her unlocked car in the 2500 block of Maplewood Street but did not take anything from inside.

Another victim told police that his car was also trespassed upon but he, too, reported nothing stolen.

A third victim told police that someone entered his car and stole $4 in change. 

A fourth victim told police that someone entered her car and stole $2 in change.

And the last victim told police that the suspect broke into two of his cars and stole medication, a radio faceplate and a Kindle electronic book. Total estimated loss is $1,043.
