Police Blotter: Multiple Burglaries Jan. 9

The information below was provided by Cuyahoga Falls Police. It does not indicate a conviction.

As reported to the 

Burglary

  • At 841 Hayes Avenue, an unknown person entered a locked house and stole a 42-inch Philips flat screen television worth $1,100, Jan. 9.
  • That same day, someone entered by unkown means a house at 520 Meredith Lane and took four pieces of jewelry worth $9,000.

Attempted Burglary

  • An unknown person attempted to enter a home by smashing a rear door window at 2430 3rd Street. The damage amounts to $250, Jan. 9.

Theft

  • A green 1990 Chevy Suburban was taken while parked at 325 Howe Avenue. Doors were unlocked and the keys were under the driver seat. The total loss on Jan. 9 was about $5,000.
