Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Burglary, Conspiracy

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Breaking and entering

The manager of AA Sanitation, 4637 State Rd., reported to police that someone entered the main door on the east side of the building between 7 p.m. June 12 and 5:45 a.m. June 13 and took a snap-on welder and an oxygen/acetylene tank with a cutting torch worth $3,000. 

Burglary

A 26-year-old man reported that someone entered his home on the 1900 block of Dwight Street on June 12 at 3 p.m. and stole a Sony Playstation 3 along with two game controllers. The total value of the items is $410.

A 23-year-old man reported to police that someone broke into his apartment on the 1300 block of Hillcrest Drive between June 11 and 12 while he was asleep and stole $302 in video equipment.

Conspiracy, Weapons Control, Corrupt Activity

A 34-year-old Akron man was arrested and charged with failing to tell a law enforcement official that he was in possession of a loaded .350-caliber semiautomatic pistol on the 2300 block of Second Street. He was arrested and his weapon was taken. 

Criminal Mischief

A 23-year-old man reported to police that someone tampered with his car by placing a large amount of clipped hair or a wig into his vehicle's tail pipe on the 1000 block of Clyde Avenue.
