Police Blotter: Bike Thefts and More Car Break-Ins

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft Reports

  • A bicycle was stolen from the 100 block of Graham Road on Sept. 14. The bike was valued at $200.
  • A Tony Hawk edition BMX bicycle valued at $160 was stolen from the bike rack at Cuyahoga Falls High School on Sept. 13.
  • Property valued at $660 was taken from a locker at on Sept. 12.
  • A resident of the 700 block of Roanoke Avenue reported that property valued at $230 was stolen from an unlocked SUV the night of Sept. 13.
  • A wallet and other property valued at $150 was stolen from an unlocked car on the 100 block of Monroe Avenue the night of Sept. 13.
  • A resident in the 700 block of Orrville Avenue reported that a car dashboard was damaged and a GPS unit valued at $239 on Sept. 13.
  • An employee of , 445 Howe Ave., reported the theft of Bose headphones valued at $300 on Sept. 12.
  • A resident on the 500 block of West Portage Trail reported that jewelry valued at $14,800 taken between June and Sept. 9. There were no signs of forced entry.
  • A resident of the 4200 block of Americana Drive reported that a computer, book bag and three library books, valued at $1,100, was taken from a car on Sept 12.
  • An Akron resident reported at $1,500 in cash was taken from his wallet, which he left in his pickup truck with an acquaintance while he was in , 325 Howe Ave., on Sept. 11.
