Police Blotter: Attempted Home Entry, Weekend Theft

As reported to the
Burglary
- An unknown person attempted entry to a 1400 2nd St. apartment by kicking at the door and damaging the door knob. The total cost of the Dec. 22 incident is $200.

- A credit card had $6,356.07 charged on it by an unknown person, as reported Dec. 24.
- Wrapped gifts were stolen from a vehicle and heavy damage to the side of the car were reported Dec. 24. It might have happened while in the street or when a boyfriend's friend borrowed the vehicle. Total damage is about $1,500.
- A Garman GPS and $35 were stolen from an unlocked Honda at 1355 Meriline St., Dec. 25. Total cost is about $200.
- At 3077 7th St., an Xbox 360, Xbox game and iPod, worth $560, were stolen from the home, Dec. 25.
- Dec. 24, four LCD televisions were stolen from 1316 Sackett Avenue. The $2,000 loss might have occured because of a later discovered "unsecured rear slide door."
- Two rooftop air conditioners, worth $8,000 total, were stolen from the rear parking lot at 3245 Oakwood Drive, Dec. 26.
