Police Blotter: Store, Car and Apartment Hallway Theft

As reported to the 

Theft

  • At 2126 Liberty Road in Stow, a man lost more than $4,500 worth of property from the hallway of his apartment building. Following an argument, his roomate had placed his belongings outside the door and items were stolen from an uknown person, Jan. 4. 
  • Jan. 5, a woman stole $89.12 of merchandise from a Southwest Canton Giant Eagle. Police arrested the woman for theft and was released until her court date. Giant Eagle retained the stolen merchandise.
  • An unknown person entered a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country van that was parked in the driveway at 3412 Charles St, Jan. 6. A box in the rear of the van contained crystal, such as glasses and plates, worth about $6,000.
