Police Blotter: Vehicle Recovered, More Car Thefts

As reported to the

A stolen Chevy Silverado had been recovered at the 1900 block of North Ampton Road. It had been abandonned and out of gas.

Burglary

Dec. 12, a garage man door was forced open at 203 Morrison Avenue. Change was gone from one car and gas was poured into a second. A $120 men's bike was stolen and later recovered.

Theft

A purse with $200 case, checkbook, credit cards and prescription bottle had been stolen from a 2003 Ford truck. The Dec. 11 loss totaled $1,000.
An electric jackhammer was taken from an unlocked Corvette at 3418 Prange Drive. The tool is worth $1,500.
