Police Blotter: Burglary at Polymerics

The information below was provided by Cuyahoga Falls police. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary, breaking and entering

• A resident on the 1900 block of Sedro Street reported someone entered her unlocked rear door and took numerous jewelry boxes filled with jewelry, a Playstation 3 game system between 7 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Nov. 29. Total loss was estimated to be $10,250.

• The shift foreman at Polymerics, 2820 Second St., reported that several interior doors had been pried open, although there were no signs forced entry from outside of the building, between Nov. 23 and Nov. 27. Petty cash, tools and pieces of scrap, worth an estimated $500, were taken.

Criminal damaging

 • The driver’s side mirror of a car parked on the 1900 block of Sackett Avenue was smashed the night of Nov. 28. Damage was estimated at $250.

• Somebody wrote “white trash” on the elevator doors and wall around the outside of an apartment on the 2200 block of Winter Parkway at about 8 p.m. Nov. 29.

Receiving stolen property

A student at , 3333 Charles St., was found to be in possession of items reported stolen earlier in the day Nov. 29 by two other students at Roberts Middle School, police said. The property was returned to the owners.
