Police Blotter: Vandal on Ritchie Street Has a Thing for Fuel Lines
The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Telecommunications harassment
• A resident on the 600 block of Monroe Avenue said she received harassing telephone calls on Oct. 13 after telling the caller to stop. She was referred to the prosecutor.
• A resident on the 1800 block of Second Street said she has received harassing text messages on her cellphone on Oct. 12. She was told to contact her cellphone provider to prosecute.

Criminal damaging
• A Ritchie Street resident reported the fuel line, power line and transmission line were damaged on a U-Haul rental truck the night of Oct. 13. Damage repair is estimated at $600.

• A Richie Street resident said a tire and brake and fuel lines were damaged on her Hyundai Santa Fe the night of Oct. 13. Damage was estimated at $732.
• A beer bottle was thrown through rear window of a Volkswagen Tiguan at about 10:20 p.m. Oct. 14, causing an estimated $200 in damage.
Patient abuse and neglect
The manager at Wayside Farms, 4557 Quick Rd., reported that one of her employees failed to provide proper care for an injured patient on Oct. 11.
Attempted burglary
An apartment resident on the 1300 block of Bailey Road reported that someone attempted to pry open her door on Oct. 14. Damage to the door and a window was estimated at $150.
Obstructing official business
Kevin A Lengyel of the 2400 block of Fourth St. was arrested on charges of obstructing official business on Oct. 13. Police said he did not provide identification and drove away on State Road after being ordered to stop.
