Police Blotter: 100 Percent off at Giant Eagle, Car Theft and Menacing Women

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Monday evening, two women filled a cart at the Graham Road and moseyed past the cash registers without paying for the items. An employee took notice, wrote down their license plate number and told officers that surveillance captured the theft. Police are investigating.

Cleaned out

A Parkview Drive resident called police on Sunday after realizing someone had rummaged through her unlocked SUV. They swiped her laptop, GPS unit and birth certificate.  The electronics and sensitive information were valued at $1,000.

Menacing women

As a woman got into her car on Buckingham Court, she spotted two women quickly approaching. The unruly duo started pounding on the woman’s driver-side door and threatened to beat her up. She quickly sped off to evade the random outburst.
