A 28-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man changed his mind about having his car searched when the Stow K-9 Unit showed up.
A Stow Police officer pulled over a Silver Elantra at the 2000 block of Graham Road Nov. 16 around 1:30 a.m. for weaving.
Police said the driver, a city of Kent water employee, initially refused a consent search of his car but said he changed his mind when the K-9 officer arrived.
The man told officers there was a marijuana pipe and marijuana (6 grams) in his back pack. Police said they also located a marijuana grinder.
The driver was cited for drug abuse, weaving and having drug paraphernalia — all minor-misdemeanor offenses. Officers said the man was also suspected of using drugs at the time.
The man was released at the scene and ordered to appear in Stow Municipal Court.
