Man Maced in His Sleep; Home Depot Thief Caught in the Act: Crime Blotter

Not the mace!
A Cuyahoga Falls man living in the 3100 block of Bailey Road called police June 7 after someone reportedly doused him with pepper spray as he slept. 

The man was treated by Falls EMS.

There are no leads or suspects.  

Swindled

A Cuyahoga Falls man reportedly lost his identity and credit card number to a thief who proceeded to make multiple purchases with the personal info, according to a June 6 police report. 

Total loss: $4,000. 

The man intends to prosecute if the culprit is caught. 

Hamburglar 
A thief reportedly swiped a man's $750 grill fromm his driveway in the 800 block of Chestnut Boulevard, according to a June 6 police report. 

The man intends to prosecute. 

Depot drama
A 29-year-old Brunswick man was arrested May 31 after he tried to steal nearly $1,500 in building supplies from Home Depot on Howe Avenue.

The man was taken into custody and charged with theft, a fifth-degree felony.
