Immigrant Caught With Fake ID; Musician Robbed; and Stranded Biker: Crime Blotter

Illegal resident
A Studio City resident was charged with forgery, a fifth-degree felony, after he handed officers a fake ID on May 31. According to court documents, authorities suspect the 29-year-old man is an illegal immigrant.

The U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was notified. 

His preliminary trial is set for June 7 at Stow Municipal Court. 

Guitar blues

A Cuyahoga Falls man reportedly left five guitars in his former residence in the 2500 block of Elmwood Avenue. 

When he returned to collect the musical instruments, they were reportedly stolen, according to a May 31 police report  

Estimated value: $2,400. 

The man intends to prosecute if the culprit is found. 

Bicyclist missing two wheels

On May 30, a man's $750 mountain bike was reportedly stolen from his unlocked garage. 

There are no leads or suspects, according to a Cuyahoga Falls police report.
