House Ransacked in Burglary; Death Threat; and $1,400 Theft

The following was pulled from Cuyahoga Falls Police Department reports dated Nov. 12-14. It does not indicate a conviction.

Daytime burglary

A woman living in the 3100 block of 8th Street called Cuyahoga Falls Police on Nov. 14 after her house was ransacked in an apparent daytime burglary. Multiple possessions were stolen. Total loss: $600. Police are investigating and the woman does wish to prosecute if the culprit is found.

Someone swiped a resident's debit card and withdrew $1,400 from his FirstMerit Bank checking account on Nov. 13. Police have a pair of suspects, and according to the police report, the man is weighing whether or not to press charges.

On Nov. 12, a woman residing in the 2100 block of Pinebrook Trail alerted police after a man she knew threatened to kill her and destroy her property. She didn't know what brought on the death threat and has been referred to the Cuyahoga Falls Prosecutor's Office.
