Resident Identified in Issaquah House-Car Crash

Mary Nime, who resides at 2374 Issaquah Street, was struck by a car as it crashed through the front of her house around 11:35 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Many details regarding the Issaquah Street car crash remain unclear, but it’s reported it was resident Mary Nime who sustained injuries when a motorist smashed through the front of her house on Thursday morning. 

The extent of her Injuries is unknown at this time, but Cuyahoga Falls rescue crews considered her a trauma patient and took her to an area hospital immediately following the accident, said Dave Frankowski, a bystander who arrived on scene minutes after the accident.

The Summit Metro Crash Response Team is still investigating, but it’s been confirmed that Nime was struck by the car when it careened into the house, he said.

The driver, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a local hospital, treated for unspecified injuries and was released this afternoon, according to Cuyahoga Falls police Lt. Dale Gramley.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
