Police: High-Speed Chase Ends With Felony Arrest

Jami L. Sesto allegedly exceeded speeds of 70 mph on Munroe Falls Avenue as police pursued her.

Jami L. Sesto, 31, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested July 6 after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase down Munroe Falls Avenue.

The pursuit began at Portage Trail and Munroe Falls after Cuyahoga Falls officers suspected she was speeding in her 2013 Dodge Challenger. 

Police called off the chase after Sesto reportedly began running red lights, driving left of center and exceeding speeds of 70 mph, according to Cuyahoga Falls police Lt. Dale Gramley. 

She was stopped shortly thereafter by Munroe Falls police at Munroe Falls Avenue and Main Street. 

Sesto was charged with fleeing/eluding officers, a third-degree felony. 

She appear in Stow Municipal Court before Judge Lisa Coates for a preliminary hearing on July 16, according to stowmunicourt.com. 

Given the felony charge, Sesto's case was bound over to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, according to the Stow Clerk of Courts Office.
