Gunman Flees After Demanding Money at Cuyahoga Falls Motel
No one was reportedly injured during the attempted robbery.
Cuyahoga Falls police are looking for a man who attempted to rob the Economy Inn on Graham Road around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
According to a press release, the suspect is described as a black man, about 6-feet tall, 180 pounds and dressed in a blue T-shirt and jeans with a beard. Police said he walked into the motel's office and demanded money while holding a gun.
The employee went into the office and locked the door and called 9-1-1. The gunman ran out of the Economy Inn without any money and fled in an unknown direction, according to police. Police and the Stow Police Department K-9 unit searched the area but did not find any suspects.
Police said a dark blue Chevy Malibu with a black male driver was seen leaving the area on Graham Road.
