A thief suspected of stealing from funeral homes in Copley and Cuyahoga Falls has struck again.
On Nov. 14, an Akron woman reported her purse had been stolen from the Ciriello-Carr Funeral Home, according to a Fairlawn police report.
The woman told officers her purse was set aside as she and her family grieved during calling hours; and when she came back, it was gone.
The handbag contained $10, a cell phone and her debit card, the report stated.
The thief used the woman's card to make a $160 purchase at Circle K and a $60 purchase at Marathon gas station on West Market in Fairlawn.
