Felony Drug Possession; Grand Theft Avenger; and Daytime Burglary: Crime Blotter

Drugged out
On June 15, Hannah N. Danish, 19, of Akron, was reportedly caught at the Quirk Cultural Center with an open 12-ounce can of beer, a glass marijuana pipe and nine Oxycodone painkillers.
She was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, along with several minor misdemeanors.
Better lock those doors
A man's Graham Road residence was reportedly burglarized at about 11 a.m. June 14. According to the police report, two laptops and a Kindle, valued at $1,000, were stolen from the residence.
There were no signs of forced entry, but the resident suspects the burglar slipped in through his unlocked back door.
Wait, where were your car keys?
A 23-year-old Atwater resident notified police June 11 after his 2011 Dodge Avenger was stolen from the 2700 block of Elmwood Avenue. The car was found June 14 on Morrison Avenue.
The man's wallet and car keys were reportedly in the Avenger when it was stolen.
$20,000 theft
An Aramark Corp accountant reportedly stole $20,000 from the company, located at 1145 W. Steels Corners, and attempted to conceal the alleged theft. Police are investigating.
Beer run
A 51-year-old North Royalton man was caught by a Walgreen's security guard on June 13 after he reportedly tried to steal a six-pack of Natural Light beer.
Not exactly shooting for the stars. The man returned the discount brew and fled on foot.
The suspected small-time thief was later identified and the convenient store, located at 455 howe Avenue, intends to press charges.
