Father Charged With Child Endangering; Burglar Caught Picking Lock: Crime Blotter

On July 21, a 29-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man inadvertently stumbled into his neighbor's apartment, while allegedly intoxicated, and passed out on the floor.
When officers were called to deal with the situation, they found the man's 2-year-old daughter had been left alone in bed for several hours.
Police took the man to Summa Western Reserve Hospital and charged him with child endangering, a first-degree misdemeanor, according to a Cuyahoga Falls police report.
Burglar sent packing
As a burglar tried to pick a lock in the 1300 block of East Hunter's Lake Drive, a resident just happened to be on the other side of the door watching the deadbolt slowly unlock.
The resident slammed and relocked the door, causing the burglar to flee, according to a July 21 police report.
There are no leads or suspects.

An unknown number of vandals reportedly toilet-papered a woman's SUV in the 400 block of Grove Avenue and wrote "penis" on the car, according to a July 21 police report.
