Father and Son Charged with Aggravated Burglary, Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An aggravated burglary June 9 turned into a quasi-professional wrestling match after a father and son pushed their way into a Cuyahoga Falls home and began punching, choking and hitting the victim with a chair, police said.

The 27-year-old male victim said he and his girlfriend were in their apartment at 1451 2nd St. when Jospeh A. Vittorio, 52, and his son Joseph A. Vittorio Jr., 27, of Munroe Falls knocked on their door around midnight, police said.

The victim told that he told the duo to go away and closed the door. The men then pushed their way into the home and started assaulting the victim, resulting in a bloody nose and a cut to the right thumb, along with swelling to his head and face, according to police.
