Falls Police Blotter: Smash and Grab Drug Seeker; Passing Bad Checks

Pill-popping burglar
A resident called on Tuesday morning to report a burglary had occurred at his Cliffside Street apartment. His first clue: the busted main doorway. Fortunately, it appears the burglar was a drug seeker as only 10 generic Vicodin tablets were stolen and nothing else. Police are investigating.

A Munroe Falls man called police on Monday after his previous employer stiffed him with over $1,200 in bad checks. The checks – one written for $618, the other for $654 – bounced and were canceled through the The short-changed man notified his old boss via certified mail over the matter and intends to press charges.
