Falls Police Blotter: Driver Turfs Yard, Gets Caught; BB Gunner; and Burglaries

A man living on the 2800 block of Bailey Road called on Wednesday after watching a motorist tear through his yard and garden. The homeowner caught the license plate of the car and police tracked the driver down. The man admitted to the turf job and told police it was an act of retaliation as the homeowner had allegedly made threatening phone calls toward the man. He was arrested for criminal damaging and must report to

BB gun mischief

A BB gunner unloaded on the aluminum siding of a man’s Lincoln Avenue residence last Tuesday. The mischievous shooter hit the man;s garage 11 times, causing $500 worth of damage. There are no leads or suspects.

Ham-burglar caught

On Wednesday, the owner of the State Road Burger King caught an employee who was charging customers for food and pocketing the money. Estimated loss: $3,100.

More burglaries

  • On Tuesday, a couple living on the 1500 block of 11th Street reported that someone slipped through an unlocked door of their residence and stole $1,500 in property. Police are investigating.
  • A woman called police after someone broke into her Munroe Falls residence and stole several items valued at $1,100 on Tuesday. Officers are investigating a pair of suspects.
