Falls Man Indicted in Drug Mart Break-In

Cuyahoga Falls Police issued a press release regarding the incident Tuesday afternoon.

Already facing felony charges after police chased him into the Cuyahoga River in August, a Falls man is indicted for breaking into in July.

first reported the breaking and entering incident on July 20 at the store at 655 Portage Trail.

Officers investigated the crime scene and collected a sample from a blood stain left behind by who they believed to be the suspect.

Detectives matched that sample to Anthony S. Stemple, 26, and determined he was the suspect they watched in a surveillance video from the store.

Stemple was indicted on breaking and entering charges, a felony of the fifth degree, by the Summit County Grand Jury.

Stemple was also arrested on Aug. 15 after at the . The charges in that incident were wrapped into the indictment.
