Police: Cuyahoga Falls Man Arrested After Child Pornography Found Friday

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday morning, the Cuyahoga Falls Detective Bureau searched a home at the 2000 block of Issaquah Street because the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force suspected child pornography was being downloaded. 

Authorities said in a press release that a large amount of evidence was taken from the home and will be reviewed by defectives. 

Police arrested Steven J. Woods, 49, of Cuyahoga Falls. Woods was charged with two counts of pandering obscentity involving a minor, a second-degree felony. More charges are possible, according to detectives.

He was booked at Summit County Jail. Police said a booking photo was not available Friday afternoon. 

Woods has an arraignment scheduled Monday at Stow Municipal Court.
