Dead Body Pulled from River in Cuyahoga Falls

A 26th Street woman's death is treated as suspicious after her body was pulled from the river Wednesday morning.

The body of a 46-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman was pulled from the Cuyahoga River near Riverfront Park Wednesday morning.

Newsnet5.com reports a call to police was made by a man who was with Dianna Dyak of 26th Street. The man told police she fell into the water just after midnight and he was unable to reach her.

The boyfriend ran to a nearby bar and asked a bartender to call 911. Police and firefighters pulled the woman’s dead body from the river at about 1 a.m. Police are treating the death as suspicious. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy Wednesday.
