Cuyahoga Falls: Police Blotter

About $4,000 dollars stolen; eggs and paintballs used to vandalize homes. Local crime report from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14.

In the early hours of , a man living in an apartment building along High St. reported to the C that his teal-colored wallet containing cash, bank cards and his drivers' license was stolen from his home. He reported a Casio scientific calculator, a pair of red and black Oakley sunglasses and a Panasonic digital camera were missing. The total value of the lost items is approximately $343.

An additional theft was reported a few hours later by a resident living on the 500 block of Meredith Lane. The woman reported two checkbooks and $4,000 cash were missing from her home.

  • A resident of the 2300 block of 21st St. reported early Feb. 12 that her home and vehicle had been peppered with raw eggs at some point throughout the night. No damages were reported, but the victim wishes to file charges.
  • On Feb. 13, a man living in the 900 block of Chestnut Blvd. reported that an unknown suspect shot the front of his home with an orange paintball. No damages were reported. 
  • Additionally, on the afternoon of Feb. 13, a resident of Meriline Street reported that her residence was also vandalized with raw eggs.
