Cuyahoga Falls Man Hit by Car on Howe Avenue

On Dec. 28, a 22-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was struck by a car on Howe Avenue and was taken to Akron City Hospital, according to Falls police.

On Dec. 28 at 6:54 p.m., Cuyahoga Falls police and EMS responded to an accident on Howe Avenue near Ritchie Street.

It appears a 22-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing Howe Avenue outside of a crosswalk.

Paramedics transported the Falls man to Akron City Hospital where he was listed in serious, but stable, condition.

The incident is under investigation by police, according to the department's Facebook page.

I'm not sure why the URL to this page says "cuyahoga-falls-man-victim-of-HIT-AND-RUN-incident". This was not a hit and run incident. I was there, and the driver not only stayed, but also took off his jacket and stood outside in just an undershirt to try to help this man. Shame on you.

Hey Andrew, I'm the victim girlfriend I'm so blessed tht whoever called for help is an Angel. I'm so happy the driver took his coat off and kept him warm. I was worry sick about him cuz I talked to him on that same day before he had left to go to the Mall and Marshall. And I nevered heard from him than until his mom contact me telling me his pastor got a call from the police that he got hit. Right now of I know he cant see or talk right now but coming back alittle at a time also it hurts that He only can remember me off and on.
