The following was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Part-time crime fighter

On June 22, a 46-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man reportedly caught a teenager sifting through his car and punched him in the mouth.

The bruised up 16-year-old fled on foot and gave a fake name to Cuyahoga Falls police after he was picked up.

The teen was charged with robbery, a second-degree felony, and obstructing official police business, a second-degree misdemeanor, according to the police report.

The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Wyandotte Avenue.

Editor's note: It's typically Patch's policy to publish the names of those charged with felonies; however, since the alleged thief is a minor, his identity won't be released.

Ready for launch

As an Akron woman motored down the 200 block of Howe Avenue on June 26, someone hurled a burrito through her driver's side window and hit her with it.
The greasy projectile was splattered throughout the interior of her car.
The woman would like to prosecute.

Meth arrest
Kimberly A. Robinson, 44, of Cuyahoga Falls, was stopped by police at the State Road Walgreen's on June 27 and was asked to empty the contents of her purse.
When she did, officers found methamphetamine and charged her with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
