Burglar and Crook Hit Cuyahoga Falls Homes

The following was obtained from Cuyahoga Falls police reports dated Feb. 1-3. It does not indicate convictions.

Sticky fingers

A slippery thief crept into the bedroom of a Clover Avenue residence and stole $600 in cash, according to a Cuyahoga Falls police report. The quick score occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 3. Police have a suspect, and the homeowner wants to prosecute.

A burglar reportedly smashed through the side door of a home in the 1000 block of Broad Boulevard and stole everything they could find, including food, women's clothing and various household items, according to a Feb. 1 police report. The homeowner told police the residence had recently fallen into foreclosure and was unoccupied. Total loss: $900. Police are investigating.
