Sticky fingers

A 45-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman was caught stealing rotisserie chickens and fried potato wedges from the Graham Road Giant Eagle on July 3, according to a police report. 

She was arrested and charged with a theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, for allegedly stealing the greasy fare.

Splat

An unknown number of pranksters reportedly splattered flour, cheese, jalepeno peppers, macaroni noodles and sauce across the front of a house in the 1600 block of Broad Boulevard. 

There are no leads or suspects. 

Costly theft


A resident living in the 900 block of Davis Avenue reported that someone entered his unlocked work truck on June 30 and stole a Verizon transmitter and receiver, according to a police report. 

Total loss: $6,000.

Has anyone seen the sidewalk?

A 52-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was arrested on July 3 for public intoxication after officers found him stumbling around the middle of State Road near Chart Road.

The heavily intoxicated man was held in Cuyahoga Falls jail and released after he sobered up. 

Cleaned out

A burglar reportedly entered a home in the 2500 block of 26th Street on July 1 and stole nearly $5,000 in property. 

The homeowner wishes to prosecute if the culprit is caught.
