Bold Car Theft Leaves Victims Jeep-Less

The following was obtained from a Cuyahoga Falls police report dated Feb. 21. It does not indicate a conviction.

A daring car thief reportedly slipped through an open side door of a Howe Avenue home, grabbed keys and a pack of cigarettes and drove away in a resident's Jeep Wrangler. Estimated loss: $10,000.

According to Cuyahoga Falls police, the theft occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 20.

The 2003 Jeep is gold with a soft black top, and includes a front winch and U.S. Army spare wheel cover.
