Assault, criminal damaging
A resident told police he was shoved and punched and his Kia Soul was damaged in the parking lot at , 2630 Bailey Rd., at 12:40 p.m. Sept. 6. The victim signed charges for assault and criminal damaging.

• A loss prevention officer stopped an attempted shoplifting at , 230 Howe Ave., at about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6. Food valued at $24.64 was recovered after the shoplifter fled.
• A Silver Lake Avenue resident reported that $500 worth of tools had been removed from her garage between Sept.5 and 6.

• A bicycle valued at $150 was stolen from a garage on the 2900 block of Archwood Place between Sept. 4 and 6.
• A loss prevention employee foiled a woman's attempt to leave , 75 Graham Rd., without paying for diapers, baby wipes and laundry detergent at about 2 p.m. Sept. 6.
Telecommunication harassment
A resident of the 1600 block of Hanover Street told police someone she knows has been sending harassing messages on Facebook and also calling from an unknown phone number and leaving harassing and threatening messages. She was told to contact her phone carrier and she was referred to the prosecutor's office.
Assault
A woman told police a man struck her arms, causing some swelling and bruising during a fight at , 1767 State Rd., at about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 8.
