Alleged Drunk Driver Pleads Not Guilty to all Charges
The charges stem from an incident that occurred last weekend when Kimberly Stumpf smashed into a parked cruiser and injured a Cuyahoga Falls police officer.
Kimberly Stumpf, 29, of Akron, the alleged drunk driver who smashed into a police car, pled not guilty to all charges in this week.
Her charges include: operating a vehicle while intoxicated, blood alcohol content, approach of a safety vehicle, causing an accident and possession of drugs, according to court records.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Portage Road as policeman Joel Moledor was assisting another officer on a different drunk driving call. Moledor was hit by his own parked cruiser that had been rear-ended and pushed forward by Stumpf’s car, said Sgt. Gary Merton.
